About Wicked
Wicked has become one of the biggest musicals in Broadway history, but when it first opened in 2003, nobody could have predicted just how successful it would become!
Based on Gregory Maguire's novel, Wicked takes audiences back to the Land of Oz and tells the untold story of the witches, exploring the unlikely friendship that changes both their lives forever.
In 2004, Wicked won three Tony Awards, including Best Actress in a Musical for Idina Menzel, before making its West End debut in London in 2006.
Since then, the musical has been performed around the world and introduced to a whole new audience through the two-part film adaptation starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.
