About Maybe Happy Ending

One of Broadway's biggest recent hits is a musical about two robots falling in love, and it's already won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical!

Maybe Happy Ending is a heartwarming science-fiction musical set in Seoul in the 2060s, following two outdated robots who unexpectedly find companionship.

Oliver is a Helperbot who spends his days listening to jazz records and waiting for his former owner to return.

p>His quiet routine changes when Claire, a newer robot living across the hall, knocks on his door to borrow a charger.

What begins as an awkward friendship gradually develops into something more, leading the pair on an adventure to Jeju Island.

But with their mechanical bodies slowly wearing out, Oliver and Claire must confront the possibility that their time together could be limited.

Created by Will Aronson and Hue Park, the musical premiered with Darren Criss and Helen J Shen in its Broadway production, directed by Michael Arden.

At the 2025 Tony Awards, the show won six awards, including Best Musical, Best Direction and Best Leading Actor for Criss.
