If you've been waiting for this cult musical to come to a theatre near you, there's some very good news. And yes, you might want to pack your corn nuts.

Heathers The Musical is heading out on a major North American tour in 2027, following its Off-Broadway revival at New World Stages in New York.

That's a lot more chances for fans to see Veronica Sawyer navigate life at Westerberg High, where joining the popular crowd turns out to be far more complicated than she expected.

The recent New York production brings the musical back to the theatre that hosted its original Off-Broadway run, with director Andy Fickman returning and revisions from the show's later London production.

And if you're wondering who's going to play Veronica, JD and the Heathers on tour, we'll have to wait a little longer
